For those were not able to attend the parent meeting tonight (Wed, Feb 3,2010) it is important for you to know the following was discussed and agreed upon.

The teams for Provincials have been made as listed below. All requests for special considerations were granted. No further adjustment to the rosters is possible. Diane and I believe they are divided as evenly as possible.

For the remainder of the season the format will be as follows:

1. Wed night will be combined for all Bunnies with a focus on skating and ringette skills.
2. Weekend ice times will be for one team or the other and will be well indicated on the website schedule. It is the goal that each team will get one ice time each weekend. FYRA is doing their best to get this ice time for us. When time permits I may send email reminders but it is your responsibility to know when your child plays or practices. Team practices will focus more on team play (defense, shadowing, goal tending, free passing)
3. There will be a home and away game scheduled for each team against Chipman in the month of February
4. There may be games scheduled between the two Fredericton teams as well.
5. There may also be a scheduled match up for each team in Doaktown against Miramichi
6. During the month of March we will start teaching some Novice level concepts to the 7 year olds to help them integrate next year.

We have 7 weeks left until Provincials and we want to continue our progress right up until that point. We believe this is the right approach to achieve that. Diane and I will continue to coach both teams and practice plans and game approach will be the same for both teams. We are hopeful that the schedule for Provincials will also permit us to coach both teams. Hopefully the schedule will be kind to us.

There will be year end festivities but no decisions were finalized. Some ideas included attending the banquet and/or having a Bunny party possibly at a pool. If you have suggestions please forward to Robyn.
